The Canadian Sinfonietta Youth Orchestra (CSYO) is a group of string students from
Toronto, Canada. This group is part of a larger full youth orchestra with students in age
ranging from 6-18. During the year, the CSYO rehearses weekly under the batons of of
Maestro Tak Ng Lai (senior orchestra) and violinist and artistic director Joyce Lai.
Each year CSYO presents at least three concerts in the Greater Toronto Area, a Winter and
Spring Concert in addition to extra outreach community performances and most recently a
